Mission & Vision
Art, youth and well-being — one rehearsal at a time.
Our mission is to promote the performing arts, cultural expression and youth dance education in Jūrmala and across the Baltic region, while using movement as a tool for community engagement and personal well-being.
We envision a Latvia where every young person has a place to express themselves creatively, where cultural traditions are carried forward by new generations, and where dance is open to people of all abilities.
Key pillars
01
Inclusive dance education
Weekly classes for children, teens and adults — with sliding-scale fees so cost is never the reason someone stops dancing.
02
Community stage productions
Two full productions a year, staged in local culture houses, schools and seaside festivals.
03
Cultural preservation workshops
Latvian folk dance roots taught alongside contemporary and urban styles, linking generations.
04
Youth mentorship
Senior dancers mentor newcomers, assist in teaching and lead their own choreography projects.
